I was born and raised in Mishawaka, IN.  When I was 7 years old, my mother started taking me to church.  It was at the age of 7 that I recognized my need to accept Christ as my Savior.  I attended a Christian school and then attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College.  It was at PBBC that I earned my degree in Elementary Education.

While attending PBBC, I met my husband, Allen Hraba.  We were married in 1990.  For the first year of our marriage, I taught at First Baptist Christian School in Mishawaka, IN.  My husband and I moved to Taylors, SC in 1991.  I taught fifth and sixth grade at The Academy of Arts, and Allen went to school at Bob Jones University.  We were then called to Delaware, Ohio, where Allen taught at Delaware Christian School, and we attended Delaware Bible Church.  It was during our 12 years in Ohio that Acacia, Alec, Austin, and Alayna were born.  I stayed home and was involved in several ministries at the church.

In 2004, the Lord led us here.  Allen began teaching Math and Computer Science, and I became an aide for 3rd and 4th grade. During my second year as an aide, I had the opportunity to substitute for the Kindergarten teacher during her maternity leave.  I was offered the job as Kindergarten teacher for the fall of 2006.  I have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten for 4 years.

My goal is to allow the Lord to use me in this role as teacher to direct the lives of young children spiritually and academically.
