Numbers - Review combinations for 1-6 families; review one-half of an object; review number recognition and after numbers; introduce: number words five, six, and seven; Introduce counting by 5s; review the nickel and introduce counting nickels.

Phonics - Review Vowel and Consonant Charts; Review all letter sounds; Review One- and Two Vowel Rules; Review Special Sounds all ready learned; Intoduce Special Sounds: "st" in stop, "pl" in plane, "fr" in frog, "tr" in train, "sh" in ship, "th" in thick, and "th" in this; introduce special sounds blends: example sta, ste, sti, sto, stu.

We still need Box Tops!!! Please save these and ask friends and relatives to save them for our class.

Please send snow gear everyday! They will be playing outside every afternoon if the weather permits.

 On Wednesday we will have a TeddyBear Day. The children may bring a teddybear from home. If they have any books about teddybears they can bring these to school also. I am checking to see if it is ok to wear pajamas to school as well. We will have a TeddyBear Picnic at the end of the day. If you would like to bring in a snack to share, please send it in. I could also use a few picnic baskets and picnic tableclothes for our afternoon activities. Thank you!
