I was born in Chisago City, MN, and graduated from Chisago Lakes Baptist School in 1996. I attended Pensacola Christian College for two and a half years before transferring to Maranatha Baptist Bible College where I graduated with a degree in elementary education. I met my husband, Nathan, at a church I attended in Wisconsin. We were married in 2002. While teaching, I earned a Master of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades in Georgia; I taught middle school and high school classes at Lake Region Christian School in Baxter, MN. My son, Joey, was born in the summer of 2009 and I was blessed to be able to take a year off to be with him. I am very happy to be teaching the third and fourth graders this year at C.L.B.S., and I am also excited to be back in the Chisago Lakes area.
