I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and I graduated from Johnson High School. I have lived in Minnesota my entire life.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in speech/theatre from the University of Minnesota. I have taken many graduate courses from Hamline University. This is my twenty-fifth year of teaching at Chisago Lakes Baptist School. I previously taught in the Saint Paul Public School District. I have also worked at Sylvan Learning Center and taught summer school in St. Paul in the Excel program. I am currently licensed by the American Association of Christian Schools.
In 1976 I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. The Lord has done marvelous things in my life since that day when He totally changed my life. My life verse is Ephesians 3:20.
I have been blessed with a precious family of three children, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. The activies I enjoy are: reading, theatre, piano, classical music, walking, and spending time with my family. Teaching in a Christian school, where I can train students to live for the Lord, is a great privilege!
