http://www.clbcministries.org/pro/news_rss.cfm?detailid=66257 CHURCH NEWS & EVENTS On Sunday, August 29, we will have our normal children's church for ages 3-5 years old, but they will be dismissed at the beginning of the morning service instead of at their regular time just prior to the message. We will also be adding an additional Junior Church program for our 1st-6th graders. They will meet in the youth room immediately after the refreshment time (before the morning service begins). Seventh and eighth graders should also meet in the youth room to assist Pastor Sam with this special children's program. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call the church office. Beginning Sunday, Sept. 12, John Hraba will be leading a video parenting class called <U>Shepherding a Child?s Heart</U>. The class will meet in Pastor Kraig?s office at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday morning. If you would like to attend, please sign up on the signup sheet posted on the lobby bulletin board. This is a great study for prospective parents, new parents, or any parent that would like to brush up on his or her parenting skills. There are seven (7) Bible studies going on around our community every Wednesday night of the summer - North Branch, Wyoming, Forest Lake, Anoka, Chisago City, Lindstrom, and Shafer. All the studies are working their way through the Gospel of Mark using the Bible study guide produced by John MacArthur and published by Thomas Nelson. Its not too late to join one of the groups! Contact our church office for times and places for each study. Every Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. several of our Senior Saints meet at the Swedish Village in Center City for breakfast and fellowship.
