25-27 - State Tourney @ Fourth Baptist - The boys defeated Woodcrest in the opening round, but it was not an easy game. Woodcrest is going to be the team to beat in the future. In the semi's, the Patriots defeated St. Francis in overtime 61-53. The championship game was, as advertised, the game to see. In a very physical battle, the Patriots were up by two at the half, but came out sluggish and committed several early fouls. The Rosemount Crusaders took advantage and were able to maintain a lead throughout the balance. A good effort at coming back fell short and the Patriots fell 45-39 to take the State Runner's Up trophy. All Conference first team went to Jamie Newburg. Jamie Newburg and Jared Antilla were chosen for the All Tournament Team.
Varsity boys finished the season with a record of 16-7

25-27 State Tourney @ Fourth Baptist - The girls cruised to victory in the opening round against Owatonna Christian, but had to face Fourth Baptist in the semi's. The Warriors had no answer for the Patriot trapping defense and CLBS cruised to a 33-22 victory. The Patriots would face the number 1 seed, Lake Region. Earlier in the season, the Hornets took care of CLBS, but it was a different scenario today. Jumping out to an 8-0 lead, the Patriots had to fend off those pesky Hornets throughout the game. The girls won the state title 38-34. Allison Hansen was All-Conference first team. JoJo Hodak was chosen All Tourney and Allison Hansen was the All Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Varsity girls finished the season with a record of 18-3
Congratulations to both teams on a very successful season!!!
